Tatra Tour 2026

1. Cycling the longest valley in Tatras + possible hiking to Kasprov peak

To be honest this is my most favourite place, the real pearl of Tatras with panoramic views of the Western Tatras. Higly recommended because it is a moderate dificulty, but you will see the Silent valley, which is the most beatiful and longest valley in High tatras. You will see pristine forests, alpine meadows and crystal-clear streams. The oldest primeval forests in Europe are also found here. Slovakia’s highest waterfall (80m) is hidden deep in Kôprová Dolina. The river Bela Bela springs in this place and surrounding slopes are full of life.

5. The Belá River

The Belá River is the only free-flowing river in Slovakia. It winds freely through the Liptov region, creating an explosion of life in its surroundings. See for yourself! The teritory around the river was often visited by predators: lynx and bears.

On the riverbanks, some rare plant species thrive, while beneath the stones, you’ll find giant stoneflies – aquatic insects that have survived since the time of the dinosaurs. We’ll also explore the surrounding forest, discovering hidden corners and old riverbeds now transformed into freshwater springs. The area offers perfect opportunities for picnics, barbecues, and even a refreshing swim.
